Coaching & Counseling Policy Agreement

Thank you for choosing to work with me. Please read and acknowledge the following policies before our first session.

  1. Payment Policy
  • Cost for sessions are $120/session and they run an hour.
  • You can book a 5-session package for $525; that’s a $50 savings off the regular rate, reducing sessions to $105/session.
  • Full payment is due 24 hours or more prior to your session. If payment is not received, your session will be rescheduled or canceled.
  • Payments are accepted via Cash App or Venmo.
  1. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • With a 24-hour notice, you may transfer your payment to a future session. However, if you fail to provide this notice, the payment is non-refundable and will be retained.
  • No refunds are given for cancellations, missed sessions, or no-shows.  A no-show is considered after 15 minutes of the start ime of the session. In the event you arrive late, we still end at the original end time.
  1. Payment for Unpaid Sessions
  • If you have not paid for a session by the scheduled time, you will be required to make full payment before scheduling a future session.
  1. Grace Week for Emergencies
  • In case of emergencies, I offer one grace week where I will not charge for the session. After this grace week, full payment is required for any subsequent sessions.
  1. Session Format
  • All sessions are scheduled on weekdays: day and evening time slots are available; weekends are an exception to the rule for emergencies only.
  • All sessions are conducted virtually, via FaceTime or Zoom.
  • Scheduling for sessions is done over text until my website scheduling system is activated
  • *Although sessions are conducted virtually, clients are responsible for choosing a private and quiet environment where they can be fully present and uninterrupted. This may include a room or, if necessary, a parked car. To maintain the integrity and effectiveness of our time together, we strongly recommend that clients do not eat during the session and ensure that children or other potential distractions are not present. Given the sensitive nature of our work, creating a quiet, focused and confidential space is essential for your care and progress.
  • If there is a special request for a more physical modality for coaching or counseling, please notify me in advance, and we can discuss alternative arrangements.
  1. Confidentiality
  • All sessions are confidential. I will not share any personal information discussed in our sessions without your consent, except as required by law. Your privacy is important to me, and I will take all necessary steps to ensure your information is kept secure.
  1. Coaching and Counseling Approach
  • All coaching and counseling sessions will integrate both psychological and spiritual aspects, incorporating brain science and spirituality unless you specifically request otherwise. If you prefer a more tailored approach or wish to exclude any aspect, please let me know.
  • Sessions can include an emotional support person who has been alongside your journey but eventually, we will do remaining sessions one on one to Stewart and protect your voice and personal breakthrough.
  1. Medical or Psychological Conditions
  • If you have a medical or psychological diagnosis, please share that information with me. This helps me take your needs into consideration, be mindful of the role medications may play in your care, and also determine if I am the best fit to support you.
  • I am a certified Coach and Counselor. As such, I do not provide medical diagnoses or recommend medications as part of my profession. If you have questions or needs in these areas, I encourage you to consult with a qualified medical professional for guidance and care.
  1. Session Commitment
  • There is no required minimum number of sessions. You are welcome to decide the pace and length of your counseling journey. However, I generally recommend a minimum of 8 sessions, as this begins to provide enough consistency for meaningful and lasting change to take root. If your budget and schedule allow, I also recommend that our first three sessions be held weekly, as this helps build momentum and establish a strong foundation for the work we will do together.
  1. Acknowledgment
  • Reply to the email that you acknowledge and agree to these policies and then we will proceed to scheduling a session. Please ensure you are familiar with the terms above before booking your appointment. Scheduling a session will only happen after you read and acknowledge the counseling policies.
